Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's best athletes. Biles was the first American female gymnast in history to have won four gold medals during the same Games. in Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to have won successive World All-Around championships. Biles was born at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was interested in gymnastics when she was just six in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years under the direction of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the top level of competition in 2011. In less than two years, she dominated the sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant nature and high degree of difficulty in her four events -- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- set her above the others.
