Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke, born in Newport Beach in March 1989 is one of America's most famous and wealthiest Pole Vaulters. Her photo from her 17th birthday track meet 2007 was a huge hit, which made her the world's most famous Pole Vaulter. Instagram and Twitter has helped her grow a huge social media following. She's an athlete who is on the same track as Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times and others noted that Stokke didn't seek out or encourage such the attention. In their book Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society Brett Hutchins and David Rowe linked Stokke's case with that of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo women athletes who were idolized and were seen as having their images framed sexually in a way that, as the authors stated, devalued their achievements in sports. Stokke's posts on social media frequently insult and attribute the sexualization of the situation to the women. Others women made a connection to Brandi's celebration of her sports bra when she was awarded the FIFA Women's World Cup back in 1999. The women claimed that debates about appearance were a distraction from sporting events that women enjoyed. Matt Ufford had threatened to take action against the photographer for failing to removing the image. The story was already widely circulated and had received much media attention. Stokke quickly gained a following when a website dedicated to him was built with pictures of Stokke performing her skills during her pole vault. The images then spread across social media, reaching hundreds of fans on the internet. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. Caron wanted Florida to graduate from high school. After completing her graduation in 1974, she opted to make her career differently by approaching the job. Alyce is proud to be the daughter of a college professor. She is a college professor and her family is supportive of her. Alyce is a part of her family living in Texas as her father works for the U.S. Army. The family celebrated their father's birthday the year before. Alyce shared a picture of her daughter's beautiful face on social media, recognizing his contributions in his country through the U.S. Army. Alyce's daughter is also more concerned with her education. She has earned the National Merit Scholarship at the Washington University and also celebrated her 22nd birthday in 2022.
