Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is a famous American singer, actress also a writer, director and actor. Most famously, she is known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she has also produced and starred in her own film Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle is her elder sister who is also an artist. The father of Benson was Jewish, and while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Benson was raised in Alabama and went to a Reform church in Alabama. Since Buffy came to an end, Benson has appeared in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. While behind the lens Benson utilized her writing talent to create The Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones. Buffy estimates that at least 1800 Slayers are in existence, and 500 of them are part of the Scooby Gang. Slayers can be active after they are old enough to be a Slayer.
