Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actress best known for playing House in the Fox Medical drama House. After turning 18, Lisa moved to New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to traditional Jewish tradition. But very soon she was active in the club scene, and was able to make enough headlines that she was recognized by the media, while also becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. Eventually she used her training and fame to write and compose the musical Positive Me and was also in the show. Soon after, she was offered an interview with MTV as host of Awake in the Wild Side.
