Rachael Leigh Cook (born October 4, 1979[1]) is an American model and actress. She has starred in the films The Baby-Sitters Club (1995), She's All That (1999), and Josie and the Pussycats (2001) as well as the television series Into the West and Perception. She also voices of Robot Chicken's Tifa Lockhart character. Her parents are Thomas Howard Cook (a social worker, comedian and ex-comedian), and JoAnn Cook (a cook instructor and weaver). 2. She is of Italian descent. Cook was featured for the very first time in a public service advertisement for foster care at seven years old. She started her modeling career as an unassuming child model at the age of 10, and was featured in national advertisements for Target and Milk-Bone dog biscuit boxes. She was a student at Clara Barton Open School and Laurel Springs School. She also attended Minneapolis South High School.
